Who we are
Our website address is womeninaicolorado.org. Women in AI Labs is a program of Rocky Mountain AI, a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are also on Meetup.
What we collect and why
Newsletter and contact forms. When you sign up for updates or contact us, we collect your name and email address through HubSpot, our customer relationship platform. We use this to send you event announcements and community news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Event registration and payments. Registration for our learning labs is handled through Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment information directly. We never see or store your full card details. Meetup registrations are governed by Meetup’s own privacy policy.
Site analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site. This collects anonymized information about pages visited, general location, and device type. It does not identify you personally.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. Embedded content from other sites, such as YouTube videos, Meetup listings, or Stripe checkout, behaves as if you visited those sites directly, and they may set their own cookies and collect data about your interaction.
How long we keep your data
We retain contact information for as long as you remain subscribed to our community, plus a reasonable period afterward. Request deletion at any time and we will remove your information from our systems, except where we are obligated to keep records for legal, tax, or nonprofit reporting purposes.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your information. We do not share your contact details with sponsors, partners, or anyone outside our organization without your explicit consent.
Photos at our events
We sometimes photograph our meetups and learning labs to share on our website and social media. If you’d rather not appear in photos, tell any organizer at the event and we’ll make sure of it.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at info@womeninaicolorado.org.
